SUMMARY:The Hidden Strings
DESCRIPTION:Prism Youth Theatre \n— Created by Prism Youth Theater Company —  \nInquisitive youth at play examine facts\, opinions\, and imagined truths in pursuit to define their world. \nThis is a devised piece centered around the concepts of transparency and process as they relate to the theater. We began writing with questions like “how can we welcome and not deny our performance space\,” “what sort of story do we want to tell\,” and “how do artists get from rehearsal to performance?” Once the story is clearer\, we will update this page with an informative synopsis. \nAll tickets for this project are FREE! Reserving your spot is recommended\, though walk-ups are welcome! \nThe show will take place in the Menomonee River Parkway Navigation there is a bit strange\, so it’s best to say\, navigate to Hartung Park (W Keefe Ave\, Wauwatosa\, WI 53222) for street parking\, then walk 2 min south along the Menomonee River Parkway to find the spot. Refer to the illustrated map below and view the audience guide. \nSHOW DATES & TIMES:\nThursday\, June 15th @ 7:00 pm\nFriday\, June 16th @ 7:00 pm\nSaturday\, June 17th @ 2:00 pm\nSaturday\, June 17th @ 7:00 pm\nSunday\, June 18th @ 2:00 pm

SUMMARY:Greetings from Green Lake
DESCRIPTION:By Deanna Strasse \nBest friends and roommates Lynda and Melinda have spent their entire lives taking care of others\, and\, as they approach retirement age\, they are ready to focus on themselves. For Melinda\, that means finally writing that anthrozoology book she’s always wanted to pen. For Lynda\, that means coming to terms with her supposed gift to reawaken the dead. Things get complicated when Melinda’s anxious and uptight niece Beth comes to visit\, throwing their idyllic though unorthodox life into a tailspin. \nBetween a very dead bird\, a very live tortoise\, and these women all trying to figure out the secret to life\, the city of Green Lake\, Wisconsin may never be the same. \nSHOW DATES & TIMES:\nWednesday\, June 14 @ 7:30 PM\nThursday\, June 15 @ 7:30PM
